Sally's Emergency Vet Bills

Sally has recently fallen critically ill, and in our efforts to figure out what's wrong, we have amassed quite a stack of vet bills that's only growing. 

Sally is 12 years and 4 months old, born on my birthday in 2002. On the day we adopted her, I picked her up from her cage and as her claws sunk into my shoulder I just knew I had to take her home- something in me just knew I'd found my companion. She's helped me through some very rough times in my life, and her big golden eyes and insistent meows have always been a source of comfort. Her odd little quirks, such as attempting to bury her food after she eats but never burying after she uses the litter box, her borderline obsession with tape (she will steal it off boxes and chew it), her hoarding tendencies (I have found piles of hair bands, small things I've knitted, even the occasional shirt hidden in corners and under dressers), are just enough to make me laugh and shake my head on days where nothing else can make me smile. 



Sally has pulled me through some very hard times in my life. I can always count on her for a snuggle when I'm crying or a hilariously judgemental stare if I trip over my own feet. She's always been there for me, and now it's my turn to be there for her.
