A Safe Place 4 Molestation Victims

Donation protected
Hi, my name is April Mason. People who know and have supported my work for years, know I have a strong  passion for molestation awareness. From the age of 5-17, I was molested by a neighbor and family members.  I ended up having three children by the age of 23, raped, living in a homeless shelter, domestic violence (my face was smashed into the wall), abortions, divorce, low self-esteem and self-worth.

I remember the day I said to myself, "there has to be more to life than hurt, pain, rejection and abandonment." From that point on, I set out on a journey of healing and life purpose. Long story short, I'm healed, delivered and set free from the bondage of my past.

Since 2006, I've been a molestation community activist. In 2011, we held our first Broken But Not Bound Molestation Awareness Rally, in Atlanta, GA.

Year round, but especially in the month of April (molestation awareness month), we host a  free webinar or teleconference call for survivors. This gives us an opportunity to share the message of forgiveness to the world.

On a continual basis, we receive phone calls and emails from abuse victims. The age range is from 16 to 80.
We noticed that the majority of the people who we've physically removed from the bad environment, gone to law enforcement and DA's office with are between the ages of 17 and 22. Many of those young ladies were still living in the home with their abusers. There are so many in that age range who are in the same situation.

We have done everything in our power to give those young ladies a safe place. From paying for hotel stays to opening the door to our homes. The shelters and crisis centers are full, which forces them to stay and endure the abuse, live on the streets or sadly commit suicide.

This is where you come in. Through your kindness today, you can help us secure a safe haven for these young ladies.  Your donation will help us to financially secure the location, hire qualified staff, establish an emergency hotline, provide food, toiletries, counseling, life and personal development. Your gift today will help heal a life.  Our scheduled launch date is fall 2015.
