When: June 25th - 29th, 2015
What do I need the money for?
Plane Tickets $200 - $350, Room/board $500 (5 nights), Volunteer fees $200. I will paying my own food expenses, travel expenses while I am there and my unpaid time off to go to this event.
Why do I want to go?
I am planning on building two big new projects which will eventually lead to a large Yoga Conference in the Portland Area. In the effort of making this event a success I would like to work a large Yoga conference to gain the experience of how one is put together and ran successfully.
Yoga Journal has been around for a long time, and has a reputation of bringing in the largest and most talented National and International teachers together in one big event. This alone takes a lot of work and time, and a lot of learning on my part.
I feel very passionate about this new project, and know that with your help I can start out on the right foot. I will also be continuing my efforts to raise money with teaching extra classes, workshops, and other yoga services in order to help raise the money. But I am running out of time quickly to purchase my tickets, and reserve my spot as a volunteer. I would like to work smart, and get my spot reserved ASAP, and know that I can afford to get there. It doesn’t do me a lot of good to reserve my spot, and not be able to afford to have a place to stay or a plane ticket down there... Please consider helping me get to San Diego, any amount of money you could afford will help offset these expenses.
