Send Team Edison to HOSA Conference

I'm making a public plea to help support my students. We competed at the New York State HOSA Spring Conference 4/15 - 4/17 (a competitive events conference for students in health care educational programs) and ROCKED it! We took home 20 medals by 16 students. I'm SO proud, but now comes the tough part...my school doesn't have any money to fund the students to go compete at the National Conference in California June 23-27. I need to raise $11,000. (yikes!) The families of these students do not have the financial ability to pay for their child to attend such an expensive event. The effort, the joy and the growth of confidence I witnessed in these kids makes it all the more heartbreaking to have to tell them we may not make it to the National Conference.
