Blane is a 16 year old with Spina Bifida. He requires full time attention so his single mom must stay home with him and can not work. They live in Section 8 housing without any accessible features to ease the burden of caring for Blane. She has been robbed there on more than one occasion.
We're building a new home for Blane and others during the week of August 24-29th on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Help us fund or come volunteer as part of a 10 year celebration of progress for the area devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
Fuller Center is founded by Millard Fuller who also started Habitat for Humanity We use a similar model in building homes for those in need
