Tuna's Pan Asian jits trip fund

Hello friends and family.




My Name is Ryan Valley but most of you guys will know me as Tuna, well what can i say I'm in love, I'm committed. I have never been so happy in my life, I have never work hard for a relationship before. I used to be 260 lbs and now  I'm at 175 lbs, and its all thanks to jiu jitsu. I have been practicing this art for 5 years now, and I believe it saved my life. My mother, Esther  Valley, has type 2 diabetes, like all her siblings, and if it were not for jiu jitsu i would have easily come to the same path. Currently I'm a 10th planet purple belt under Nabil Salameh. I train 6-7 days a week, this is my life. Now I feel I'm ready to take jiu jitsu to the next level. I will Be competing at one of the biggest tournament in Asia, The Pan Asian Jiu Jitsu in the Philippines, on May 15, 16 and 17. i will be registering for both masters and adult GI an NOGI. I will be leaving Canada on May 4th and plan on training full time at B.A.M.F. Mix Martial Arts, Before the tournament. I will also be representing their school and will be under Team Deftac.




Why Pan Asian? and not the worlds?

 I was originally going to compete at the worlds at the end of May, but 2 of my mothers sisters, aunty Sally and aunty Jocey passed away this year. My mom asked me to comeback with her to see her remanning siblings, and also my Mom will most likely be starting dialysis by the end of this year. Her wish is for us to have one last trip together before she gets really sick.  one of my relatives suggested the Pan Asian and recommended that compete in the Philippines instead. I talked to my coach and he also said it was a great idea. so here we are.

The whole trip is going to cost me $2300 with your help we can get golds together :)
