My Bizibaby Safety Socket

Hi, I am Walter F. Davis, IV. I am a 48yr old stay at home dad and Army Veteran from Pgh, PA with a new mission of caring for a BiziBaby.
About 3 years ago my concept for the ''StaPlugd'' safety socket was born out of necessity. I was at home dealing with a BiziBaby that could not and would not stop touching everything he wasn't suppose to. His main objects of obsession were the electrical outlets and cords that were in my kitchen. The kitchen being my family place of gathering it soon became his primary playroom. Both my cable box and tv were on the wall, leaving both electrical cords and outles exposed to relentless assaults and pursuits of of him unplugging the cords and attempting to insert whatever else he could find in the outlets. So it left me with trying to stay a step ahead of what proved to be a challenging task on how to stop my BiziBaby from possibly killing himself. I tried ducktape which only slowed him down and can be peeled away leaving a tacky residue. I tried the plastic outlet tabs which were useless and can just simply be popped out. I felt like I was fighting a war in which I couldn't win with the inferior equipment that was existing . Not only did I have to make sure that he didn't shock himself or even burn the house down now i had a new threat because , I also caught him chewing on one of the plastic tabs , that i had in the outlet. This now forced me to come up with something I could win this battle whith and save my childs life.
Working with what resources I had, I came up with MyBiziBaby "StaPlugd" outlet cover. Finally I had something that I could not only turn the tide with, but something that could help me relax a little. I thought to myself, "I could win this battle." Finally I had something that not only stopped him from sticking things in the outlet but also kept him from removing the cords that had to stay plugged in . He tried to get past my defenses, but after several days of trying to pull the plugs from the wall, he realized he couldn't get past this one. He soon lost his interest whith my electrical cords, thus rendering me the victor. Now if only I could get him to stop harrassing the dog, maybe she and I both could get a little breather.

After many friends and relatives observed "StaPlugd", they began asking me if I could make some for them. I then decided to take steps to provide it to the public. I got in touch with a hot injection mold manufacturer from Mn. and i was quoted a price for the following:
1) Hot injection mold with unlimited orders. The manufacturing company would provide warranty and maintain for a lifetime duration.
2) Packaging
3) Advertising. I don't want to use them for advertising because I plan to use social media to get my product out to the public. Once the product is out there, I want to go commercial and advertise through informercials. So my start up costs would come up to roughly $20,000.
These prices that i was quoted for diecast hot injection molds does not reach our goals of making it affordable and maufactured in America by veterans .
My goal is to make this product affordable so that every family will be able to utilize the "StaPlugd" socket cover. There are alternate paths that i can take to make it more affordable but that would consist of using overseas manufacturers which i realy do not want to be a part of . I want this procduct to be as cost efficent as possible with "Made in America" stamped on our packaging . So i would luv to find a stateside manufacturer to help me make this happen for a reasonable cost .
