Sports Court for La Soledad

Imagine, the muddiest of mud you've walked in... then add sticky red clay, cow poop, and more water... that is what the kids play sports on here in La Soledad.

Now imagine a crumbling cement court, running around in barefeet, tripping over cracks while going for the volley ball sailing over the falling net.

Remember when you were a kid at school, having fun at recess, playing on a nice playground, basketball, or volley ball court. We built such great relationships on those courts. THAT is what I want to build  for the kids in my community, not a court, but relationships. The court would create a safe place for them to get out all of their excess energy, build lasting friendships, and create a sense of team spirit we learned when we were kids.

Through your donation, you will help me, along with Courts for Kids to build a full-sized combination court of basketball, soccer, and volley ball for the kids of La Soledad... AND the adults too. Because com'mon, don't we all love a little sports now and then?
