In Memory of Jaime Pritchard

Donation protected

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Jaime Pritchard, our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and the first Relief Society President of the LDS Elliott Bay Ward, on Sunday, April 19th, 2015.

Jaime's departure was unexpected and likely the result of an undetected brain tumor. She passed away in her sleep early Sunday morning.

As many of you know, Jaime played the piano masterfully and loved her job as a helicopter flight nurse with Airlift Northwest. She is the favorite aunt to many nieces and nephews and loved her family. She loved Diet Coke, ate anything sugar related, always had a pair of sunglasses with her, loved her dark nail polish, and was just a delight and ton of fun to be around. She was a best friend with practically everyone, always willing to step in and help. And she was a terrific leader, allowing folks to shine while she gently guided a broad and diverse group with her wonderful spirit and example.

She will be dearly missed.

To help the family with all of the costs of the funeral, we are setting up a GoFundMe to help in any way we can. As many of you know, the costs can be incredibly steep, so this fund will go 100% to covering those costs. We don't know the final number, but it is anticipated it may be as high as $25,000. Any money raised above the direct funeral expenses will be donated to Seattle Children's Hospital.
