Maria's Medical Expenses

I am requesting a love offering to help with medical costs for my sweet friend Maria Seisser who has been battling Breast Cancer for almost 10 years, as of April next year. She has been a warrior of this awful illness for so long due to the shield of God’s protective hand and the loving support of her family.
So as you can imagine, with this long enduring fight, the cancer has metastasized (spread) all throughout her body: her bones, liver and brain now. The tumor in her brain is pressing on nerves that have shut down the muscles on the left side of her face, which has presented her with symptoms of Bell’s Palsy. This condition has made it terribly difficult for her to close her eye, eat food and her left hand is now limp and numb. Even more so, she suffers from intermittent leg quivers/seizures that literally stop her in her tracks, or causes a sudden collapse.
Unfortunately, she recently found out from her doctor that she only has a few months left to continue on in this unmatched fight. It has come down to the point where there are not many medical (chemotherapy) options left to help slow the growth and spread of her tumors, especially the one in her brain and others in her liver.
Even with this unsettling “news”, Maria continues to thrive on and holds onto the love of God. Her days consist of being followed around by her feisty, protective 12 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Sandy, while spending time with her sons Johnny, Tony and now Ricky (visiting all the way from Hawaii) and her beautiful daughter (and best friend) Martha. All of her kids take care of her, from bringing her water, to taking her on walks around the block for fresh air and exercise, to attending her many doctor appointments throughout the week. It really is a team effort. I don’t want to forget about her largest supporter, her loving husband, Jay. He has truly led Team Seisser on project, “Get Maria Better” all these years. He works at his job endlessly from before dawn to dusk, and in between goes home to take her to scheduled doctor appointments, procedures and tests. His support for her during this battle has been unwavering both in love for her and for the several medical treatments she needs.
Even in the midst of such a terrible disease, Maria is thankful to God for protecting her and continues to give glory to Him. I hope to raise some money to help with medical costs and also as a love offering for her, so she knows she is loved and prayed for during this difficult time.
