Short Summary
Hello my name is Husain Bazzi and I am 17 years old. I go to Fordson High School in Dearborn, MI. I am working on my final project to complete my Eagle Scout requirments. I will be resealing the courts (with asphalt sealant) and stenciling out lines for the court. This is an expensive project and I am asking for your help because it will benefit the community.
What We Need
The Asphalt Sealant will be supplied from SealMaster in Detroit. The cost for the amount of sealant for two coats, 3 drums (for storage), and delivery to the park is $500. In addition, brushes, crack fillers, asphalt squeeges, stencil kits, and basketball nets. All together, the cost of the project is $800.
The Impact
This is important for the Dearborn community because Hemlock Park is a center for recreation and diversity. Due to recent budget cuts, the City of Dearborn cannot afford to maintan certain aspects of the park. This project will help restore the Basketball court to make it a safe and fun source for recreation.
