Ronnie Walkup and Family

Ronnie was known for his smile, laugh, and the funny stories he would tell. He could find the humor in everything, even in a bad situation.  While he didn't have children of his own, he made a difference in the lives of children he served while working for Shawnee Mission School District.  At home, he helped his sister raise 7 boys.  He spoiled his nieces and nephews and later, his Great nieces and nephews.  Children were natually drawn to him and loved his "santa" beard.  He was a very generous spirit and stepped in to take care of his mother, sister, and family after his father died.  He worked hard until his disability prevented him but he never failed to deliver smiles and laughs.  He gave generously all of his life and now we ask for your help as his family continues on without him.  We ask others to step in financially and continue in his spirit of giving to help his mother, sister and family to pay for his final expenses and help them transition to a new home.
