Rock the Ribbon is a Non-Profit, family friendly, live music event to be held at Riverside Barr and Grill, 5801 S. Delaware Dr. Easton, PA. from 2-10PM on Saturday July 18th 2015 , to honor the life of local icon Gina Ruggiero – Jennings.
Gina lived a selfless life. She was the owner and editor of a local newspaper that focused on positive news in the community. She helped local schools, organizations and businesses on many levels and was named Slate Belt 2008-2009 Business Woman of the Year.
Rock the Ribbon originated in Myrtle Beach, SC in 2009 by Angela Capone, to help Gina when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. We lost Gina in August of 2011. Every year since, Rock the Ribbon has been pairing up with local Non-Profits to raise money to help local individuals struggling financialy from the effects of cancer. Rock the Ribbon has joined forces with The Lehigh Valley chapter of Pink Heals. Along with their “Pink Firetruck”, we are now accepting donations in all forms to help with the success of our event. We are looking for Monetary Donations, Give-aways , Door Prizes, Major Prizes and Gift Certificates.
