For those of you wondering what's happening with the rocket I just like to let you know that your combined donations help create this beautiful rocket that will launch at Hearne Municipal Airport in Hearne, TEXAS on December 8th . I'd like to thank everyone who helped spread the word and donate towards this rocket and if you live in the area feel free to attend the launch.

Jim Paul that is a...
Jim Paul that is a very serious Accusation that you are making. Just we are clear I am not trying to "rip anybody off " . The quote was given was based on a custom rocket with about 100 hours of work put in to it and shipping. Your link seems to be a premade rocket kit . I dont think that it is completely fair to compare the two but seeing how this is your area of expertise I willing hear you out . Would you be so kind as to help me find a better quote for the rocket ? Or perhaps seeing as how you are a megaman fan and a model rocketry hobbyist you can build the rocket for us ?

@mike High power rockets are design to break apart when they hit a certain altitude( so they dont mess with aircraft) . They break up and the parts parachute back down to earth . The only possible way this can go wrong is if the motor is defective and blows up which is unlikely but possible .

So, if someone were to donate $500 to get the model rocket after the launch, how can you get it safely down after it's been launched? Got a plan? I'm curious as to what pyrotechnics the rocket can/might deploy in-flight and how high it'll go.

You accused the rocket of being a rip off and I set the record straight regarding myself . I am not ripping anyone off and if anyone is being ripped off it is me . You posted 6 of the same comment that was the reason I deleted your comments. The rocket you posted and the rocket from the game are different. Pros are needed because 1 the cosplayer has never launched a rocket( always safety first ) and 2 we are currently looking into make a 5 foot tall rocket if we get enough funds . The 5 foot rocket will require level 1 or Level 2 modeler to purchase the motor and to actually prep the model for you at the launch. He or She will also have to be the one that signs the flight card. Any model that flies on an H or larger motor has to get FAA clearance to fly and usually this means flying at a local rocket club launch . That is why I said that pros would be involved. The Rocket guy doesn't have any of the public's money just yet (only mine). If what you said is true then you sh

Woah, I didn't accuse you of anything and I don't like having words put in my mouth. I also don't trust comment scrubbers. All I was saying is that this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v =N4WboXcW7Nw costing $1,000 does not add up in my experience, even if the rocket was gold plated in the custom 28 design. Why would you need professionals for the launch? I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, I want L3 as much as anyone, but I can't donate to this and I'd hate to see people getting ripped off.
