Training in Nepal

Three years on from our trip to Nepal together and 24 years from Sue's first visit, Rob and Sue are heading to Nepal where we will volunteer for 4 months.

Sue will be assisting health and community development workers improve their report writing skills with some IT training, while Rob works with groups of teenage boys and young men to provide them with work skills in maintenance and repair of small engines and equipment.

We'll be based in Nepalgunj but will be travelling throughout the Western and Mid-Western Districts.

Our travel and daily living expenses are self funded, however there are some project expenses with which we would appreciate your support:

We need to learn some basic Nepali, so we have two weeks at language school in Pokhara with accommodation at a local homestay guesthouse.

To facilitate training in remote areas we need to fly in and out, will be staying in guesthouse accommodation and will need to hire a porter/guide to walk with us between locations.

Rob  will need to purchase tools for Maya Sadan orphanage/school to provide training.
