Road to Kzoo

Hey friends, family, and fans! 

We are the NMU Women's Hockey team and our season long goal of making it to Nationals has once again come true. We have worked hard ALL season long to get to this point, and we are very proud to say we've done it. 

Our entire season record was 23-6-0. We were undefeated in our conference play and also won the CCWHA Playoff Championship Sunday February 21st. 

The team is among the top 8 teams in the nation to qualify for this tournament. The 4 teams from the West include Rainy River, North Dakota, Northern Michigan, and Minnesota-Duluth. The 4 teams from the East include Buffalo, Cal-U, Delaware, and West Chester. 

The ACHA National Tournament begins March 9, 2016 until March 13th, so we are trying to raise funds to help pay for all the costs of the trip itself. Our lodging and transportation are going to be the biggest expense. 

Having the opportunity to compete in this National Tournament has given us a great sense and pride and confirms all the hard work we have put in throughout the entire season. It will be a once in a lifetime experience for this team and create incredible memories that we can cherish for the rest of our lives. 

If you can help us out in any way, any and all support is GREATLY appreciated by all of us Wildcats. Having support from our loyal friends, family, and fans is truly incredible and we thank you all in advance for any help you can give us. 

Any funds that are raised that exceed the costs of our trip, will be put into savings for other expenses and for the following season.
