My love for India and its culture began as a young child. As an adult it has blossomed into my calling and my passion. In 2014, I took my first trip to West Bengal, India. It was a miracle to be in a place I had read about, and even dreamed about for so long; an answered prayer. After returning home, my heart has been called to action to find my place in God's heart for this nation.
My mission is to share the hope and salvation of the Gospel in an effort to mend the broken and hurting, so that His Glory would be known among all nations. My heart is not to change the culture, but to create obedient followers of The Way by laboring alongside the indigenous workers in India.
While in India I walked through a brothel and greeted pimps, women, and children lining the dirt trails that lead through it. For the first time in my life my love for this nation and its people made sense. I became burdened for the needed freedom of all those caught in slavery.
I begin cross culture minitry training in August in Auburn, Alabama, through Global Launch. I am taking courses to become certified to teach English as a second language. I am also in the process of learning Hindi, one of the primary native languages in India.
How can you partner with me? I ask that you please cover me in prayer, as this is the foundation of God's work. Additionally, I ask that you prayerfully consider supporting this ministry financially. My needs are: A return trip to India next year and nine months of ministry training, estimated to cost $600. Along with my training, school, and finances, I am praying for $10,000 initial funds which will be used to begin my full-time cross-cultural work. This support will provide the foundation needed to launch me into full-time missionary work. In addition to your financial support, I will be seeking employment to assist in these needs as well.
