Hey ya'll...this is Jamie. Danielle, aka #1, has been my best friend for over 18 years and the Gough family has become an extension of my family. For those of you that know Ray, Annette, Danielle, Michelle or Tori you know this family has a heart of gold and will drop anything for anyone.
Early Wednesday morning, April 1st, I got a text with the horrific news that Ray had a cardiac event + was in the ICU. For all of the details, please visit his Caring Bridge page at: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/raygough/journal
The best news came on April 8th that Ray was awake! However, now the real journey begins. Ray will remain in the hospital for roughly another week and then will be moved to a rehabilitation center for an unknown period of time.
I have set up this page to ask you for help. The Gough family needs us - Ray's friends + family. They have a lot going on + a lot to deal with. I am asking that each of you help raise a goal of $10,000 that we can gift them to help pay for some of the medical bills that are about to pile on. This will hopefully take some of the stress of off them + let them focus on what is important - getting Ray better.
As horrific as this tragedy is, watching these women (Annette, Danielle, Michelle + Tori) come together, giving up their own lives, standing next to Ray's side day + night, praying, singing, laughing, crying + supporting each other + Ray has been amazing to watch. I am honored to know this family + am hoping to make life a little easier on them in terms of some of the financial medical burden that is about to hit.
Thank you for visiting this page, praying for, loving + supporting Ray when he needs it most.
Where there is a Ray, there is a WAY!
