The Military Moms of Vernon (NJ) was started in the fall of 2012 by Patti Lawson after her son left for USMC bootcamp. The groups purpose is to support moms that are new the the "military world" by sharing their own experiences and to support our troops through various projects. The group is comprised of moms with sons and daughters in all branches of the military. With the help of our community, we have been able to send hundreds of care packages to our troops overseas and we are getting ready for our next collection drive and we need your help! We will be collecting all kinds of items to make life easier for our troops away from home and we will also be concentrating on collecting items and donations to help CrossFit Walter Reed, a non-profit , totally volunteer organization that coaches wounded service members.
Although we are blessed with countless donations of things to ship, we often fall short on shipping funds. We hope that you will consider making a donation of any amount to help us help our troops!
