The Drayton Florence Foundation’s goal is to expand upon our free annual youth football camp with the creation of River City Kings(RCK) 7on7 football club. This travel team will allow our up and coming freshman, sophomores and junior football players to refine their skills year round. The mission of this program is to set a stage for the most talented high school football players in North and Central Florida to show off their skills and talent. Equally, it teaches these athletes life skills and the importance of education. The three main areas of focus for River City Kings :
• Enrichment thru Mentoring.
• Educational guidance thru SAT/ACT preparation and eligibility requirements.
• Exposure to Colleges thru 7v7 football and College bus tours.
The teams will not only participate in tournaments throughout the state but will also take unofficial college trips during the spring. Players are able to raise their profile by playing in front of scouts, media, and against some of the best players in the country. RCK provides these players with experienced coaching from 2 former NFL players(Cleo Lemon & Drayton Florence) and exposes them to the techniques and discipline necessary to be successful on and off the field at the collegiate level and beyond.
