(September 2013) There has been a progression of the progression. The oncologist talks about surgery and/or chemo as not an "if" but a matter of "when."

(August 10, 2013) My tumor marker (CA-125) was increasing, and the doctor and I made the decision for me to go on Avastin treatments. The hope is that it will help any potential tumors go away. In the meantime, I still am having difficulty with my energy levels and my back is now causing me a great deal of discomfort and pain. In addition, I am in the process of making a temporary move, and do not know where I will be going next. As a result, I am having to get rid of many things - some of which I would rather not. However, as I will need to put things into storage, I don't have much of a choice.) As always, my blog has the on-going, and most up-to-date details.

(May 3, 2013) My most recent update is here http://anewme515.blogspot.com/2013/05/i-think-mischief-is-brewing.html There is a chance cancer is back.
(April 27, 2013) My most recent request/update on my blog can be read here -> http://anewme515.blogspot.com/2013/04/i-havent-mentioned.html Please view above video for a very specific, special request. Thanks.

In May 2012, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. At the time I set up this page because I had concerns about financially making it through my treatments. Little did I know what things would be like after chemo. There is little to no talk about what happens after the treatments are done.

While I had to heal from the cancer with chemo treatment, now I have to heal from the treatment itself.

Given that I work for myself as a hypnotist and life coach, I have pretty much been out of business most of the year (prior to diagnosis I had symptoms that were making it difficult for me to make an income).

I am getting to the end of my resources as I try to rebuild myself. I am not married, and am very much on my own. I currently have to pay $670 per month for insurance. I also have supplements to buy that cost me $75-$125 per month and a credit card that has a significant amount of money owed on it that I was fortunate enough to get a low interest rate for a time, but it has been raised significantly. I have also reluctantly begun to start charging my credit card for the things I can charge, so that I will have the cash to pay for my health insurance.

Some have told me to default on the credit card. But life is hard enough right now without screwing up my credit. As you probably realize, many things these days depend on your credit score - including finding a place to live.

Where I live currently is temporary, and I have no idea where I will be going, or how I will even afford it, much less having to worry that my credit score will be prohibitive in terms of finding a place.

I saw a quote from someone who basically said that she beat cancer, but lost her life. I can totally understand that. Even though I am not "there," I am afraid I am terribly close. It would really suck to survive cancer only to have an impossible situation in life.

It is not that I am sitting back doing nothing. My situation has inspired my next actions, but they take time to implement and get going. I will share below what is going on. If there is any way that you can help me to stay afloat for the next few months, I would be incredibly appreciative. I will do whatever I can for you, you just gotta let me know what that could be.

I don't know if you can imagine how difficult this is for me to do. I never would have gone public with things if I didn't have such a great need. The "good" thing about it, though, is that I think I have created something, and will be creating something else that can be of some help to others.

Here is what I am up to. Maybe you know someone who can benefit from my assistance, or maybe you can help get the word out?

Relatingtocancer.com. The intent of the site is primarily to say who I am and what I have to offer in terms of relating to cancer. Over time I would love for it to become a site that has links to all types of info and resources.

You may have seen my blog (http://anewme515.blogspot.com). While the blog is about my journey, Relatingtocancer.com will be about how my journey can help others.

What I am working toward is finding opportunities to speak on the subject of cancer and its effects. When possible, I also intend to speak on ovarian cancer specifically, as it is a type of cancer that often goes - needlessly perhaps - undetected until it is "too late."

I also want to use my experience in cancer hell to help others who may have their own versions of it. This could include those who have been diagnosed as well as those who are their caregivers. Neither position is an easy one to be in.

To those who are open to the types of things I do - including hypnosis and other types of energy healing work - would likely be the best fit for who I am overall. At the same time, I strongly believe we all have our own best comfort zones, and often I am able to work with people wherever they are. If you know of anyone who is going through their own personal hell, please put us in touch. Odds are good I will be able to help in some way. (Important note: It doesn't matter where the person lives, as long as we can connect via phone or internet).

If you know of any speaking opportunities, tv shows, video hosts, radio shows, interviewers, magazines, blogs, etc that would be interested in the story I have to tell, or might be interested enough to find out more, please either let them or me know - or even the both of us. :) It doesn't matter where the opportunities are, I am willing to travel if the circumstances are right. (I am speaking at the CCBC Expo the weekend of March 17 - http://womensexpomd.com)

http://Relatingtocancer.com/mp3s.html has a number of MP3s that I have recorded - on Love, Change, Relieving Stress, and more.

http://WorldofPerspectiveRadio.com - "for the world between your ears" - My internet radio show is being rebooted. In the archives you can hear 40 shows from the past. I am really excited about this opportunity. Getting on the network costs money, and I have received the money through the generosity of a generous someone to do it. The network has 24 hour programming - so it will be like really being on the radio. My slot will be 50 minutes on Mondays at 4 PM Eastern. First date was April 8. I am currently looking for guests, so if you know of anyone interested, please let me know.

Thanks for your help to get the word out. If you have any questions about anything that I have written, please let me know. :)

One last thing: In the past I have asked for help financially so I know that there may be those who need help, but won't know how to pay for it. Please let them know that finances should never interfere with them contacting me if they have a need. I will try to find a way to help.

Related to that, I would love to start an organization (a non-profit?) that could raise money to help those who need my services to pay for them. In time, perhaps other alternative practitioners could also help? Who knows? The idea is a bit overwhelming at the moment. But if you know of anyone (or are someone) who could help me create this, I would appreciate the contact. If unable to do my own thing, maybe there are organizations that could work in conjunction with me? If you have any info or knowledge on any of this, I would welcome it. I am just going to trust that the info will come when I can do something with it. Even if it doesn't seem like now, who the heck knows?

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for any help or assistance you may be able to offer.
