Rick Caruso Cancer Fund

Hi, my name is Brandon, Rick Caruso’s son. Rick is a father to 4 kids and papa to 7 grandkids. Rick is a hunter, loves his dogs, and most importantly, a dedicated father. He has worked hard his whole life with the single goal, make sure his family is taken care of. Many of you already know that all changed in November when he heard the words you have lung cancer.

The week of Thanksgiving is when he received the devastating news, small cell carcinoma lung cancer. Rick is strong and as stubborn as a mule, having undergone six rounds of radiation with more scheduled. Through prayer and the grace of God, the last scan showed no cancer! But Rick is still fighting, still undergoing radiation treatments, and now fighting a stubborn case of pneumonia.

Rick is fighting hard as ever against cancer during a global pandemic with extended time off work during the past year. The medical and day-to-day bills are piling up and will continue to grow as the treatment continues. The insurance is helping, but the bills keep coming. Right now, Rick is at just under ten thousand in medical debt. With time off work, the mortgage is just as much. Those of you who know the Caruso’s know we hate asking for help, but with the cost of medications and treatments not covered by insurance humbly asking for financial support. We believe that while these bills continue to mount, the anxiety will continue to obstruct his road to recovery.

We know that in unprecedented times a lot of people are hurting physically, mentally, and fiscally. From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate anything you’re willing to donate.
