Help Me Go To UCLA

My name is Ria Julian and I need to go to UCLA.

I've applied as a dance major and have now been accepted (yay!), but the only thing that is holding me back from going is.... money. 

I know- people are going to tell me, why didn't you apply for scholarships or why didn't you apply for financial aid? 

The thing is, I cant. 

I arrived in the U.S. in 2003 as dependent on my mom's visa. Her job sponsored her, which means that we are documented immigrants. 

I didn't really think much of my status until I started to apply to college. I'm not a citizen, nor am I undocumented, therefore I have to apply as an "international student". As an "international student", I can not recieve money from the government (ie. cal grant, fafsa). I also can not apply to various scholarships (ie. Gates Millennium),  because I am not a U.S. citizen.  This also means that my yearly tuition will cost me $50,000

Adding to that dilemma, my mom's visa has now expired. We have until September 30, 2015 to pack up our things and leave for the Philippines or else we'll be deported. 

The only way for me to stay is to apply for a student visa (F-1). In order to get one, I need to show UCLA and the U.S. government that I am capable of paying for my tuition. 

This gofundme was made so that I can at least start compiling some money for that 50,000 while I look for grants and organizations that could sponsor my stay. 

I want to go to UCLA. I need to go to UCLA. 

I grew up here and I intend to stay.
