"The Feathered Serpent" San Diego

Unidentified Dance is giving students from Borinquen Dance Theatre (a nonprofit providing professional dance training to inner city youth in Rochester, NY) and Hollywood Music and Dance (of San Diego, CA), the chance to perform with us in "The Feathered Serpent" for the San Diego International Fringe Festival!
For the students of Borinquen Dance Theater and Hollywood Music, most of whom fall into the "at-risk" youth demographic, this is their first glimpse at a professional career in the arts. It's also an outlet for them to express the adveristy their communities face in "The Feathered Serpent".
"The Feathered Serpent" is a work of dance about the struggles of 1st generation immigrant youth in the U.S., as they adhere to the culture of both their parents and the modern american society to which they must adapt and survive.
All GoFundMe donations go towards production costs, advertisement, and cost of transportation and lodging for Borinquen Dance Theater. If there is enough extra, we would like to take them to the "Maya: Hidden Worlds" Exhibit at San Diego's Natural History Museum in Balboa Park!
