The not-for-profit Route 66 Chamber of Commerce was established in 2007 to promote commerce and tourism on this historic American highway, our 100+ page website is the largest Mother Road in the world and has received over 1.5 Million visitors.
This organization is unique in that no membership fees are required to join, we support our Mom & Pop small businesses with free advertising and our coverage extends from Chicago to L.A....more than 2000 miles in length!
We have recently undertaken new projects that require additional funding, and the recently completed Public Service Ad (PSA) is just one of the many ways we hope to tell America that it's most famous "Mother Road" has become the most popular RoadTrip in the world!
We also need to obtain our 501-C3 non-profit designation, obtain more temporary Route 66 directional signs to replace lost and stolen signs and help cover business, travel and display expenses.
