Bring 9/11 WTC Artifact to Florida

We are Firefighters at Kennedy Space Center, and for 5 years now we have been working alongside the New York Port Authority and Local 525 Transport Workers Union on acquiring an artifact from the World Trade Center to be permanetly placed in front of one of our firehouses. The artifact we were chosen to recieve is a Steel I-beam that was once part of the foundation holding the World Trade Center in place. The beam is over 7 feet long, and weighs just under 2000 pounds. It is a high honor to be selected to recieve one of remaining pieces, and the memorial in which it will represent, is held with the higest regard to not only Kennedy Space Center, but the entire Space Coast. The artifact recieves full memorial honors while being transported, and must be held in the highest regard at all times. Local Firefighters will be required to fly up to New York City to recieve the artifact, with which it will then be trailored to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and flown on a wide-body plane back to Miami, Florida. From Miami, it will be transported with motorcade escort to its final resting place at Kennedy Space Center. This is a tulmultious task, and requires participation from many due to the reverence the artifact holds. With practically all of us taking personal time off, and trying to cover costs associated with taking the trip to receieve the artifact, we have asked you at gofundme for your support in helping our cause to bring a piece of history home to the Space Coast, and honor those who perished on that fateful day. Your donation will go directly towards the cost incurred for the artifact to be transported, along with the support and manpower needed to bring the artifact over 1000 miles home to Kennedy Space Center.  We have 1 month to try and meet our goal of $2750 dollars and kindly appreciate any donation willing to be made.
