About This Page
Thank you to everyone who has shared in our grief and celebration of Scott’s
life. I have been overwhelmed with the generosity our community has shown us. One
of the things Scott believed in most strongly was the potential of education to
change lives. He loved that he attended public school from Kindergarten through
his Masters degree from the University of Washington. When Barrett was only a
week old, he set up his GET account and followed suit with Claire soon after
she was born. He always encouraged our family to not buy toys for our kids for
birthdays or holidays, but rather contribute to GET because he knew that your
education was something no one could take away from you. I am so grateful for
your support and know Scott would be honored to have any financial
contributions go to Barrett and Claire’s college education fund.
Since we have to have the thermometer at the top (no way around it), we figured we'd put a number so big, it was downright silly. Please know that we are deeply grateful for all contributions--whether they be in the form of money, messages or photos.
With gratitude,
Alison Carl White
