Remembering Reid

Hey y'all, my name is Andrea and I (with the help of a few friends) have created this GoFundMe page in honor of a sweet angel named Reid and in the hopes of getting him the memorial his family wants for him.
His mother, Sarah, is a very dear friend of ours that we met through a support group for soon-to-be mothers. In that group, we were there to watch her go through everything in her pregnancy; the happiness of her finding out that she wasn't just expecting one baby, but TWO, the shock of the rare type of twins they were, the typical mommy worries we all have, the ups and downs that our hormones put us through, the silly questions even the been there, done that moms ask, going over possible baby names ( like is it OK to name babies after actors like Heath Ledger?), the news of her being put on bed rest as well as her being told the babies were going to be taken out a little early and the possibility of time spent in the NICU. Then we were there the day she delivered earlier than expected and gave birth to two beautiful baby boys. Reid Jerald and Ryker Dean were born at 30 weeks 2 days. Ryker, weighing in at 3 lbs 14 oz, was tiny but a fighter. Reid, came into the world weighing 3 lbs 10 oz and although his heart had stopped beating well before he was born, he was absolutely perfect.
Sarah and her family continue to get stronger and stronger every day since the loss of Reid and so does their love for him. Her family has their hearts set on a beautiful headstone for Reid that is just too costly for any family to undertake. Our goal is to raise enough money to get the headstone memorial that sweet baby Reid deserves - something special for him to show just how special he is and will always be to us.
