Why this is important to me
After 13 years of suffering, in 2012 I was diagnosed with severe cluster headaches. For those who do not know, these types of headaches are twenty times worse than the standard migraine. They are nicknamed "suicide headaches" because you would rather kill yourself to get relief than suffer the excruciating pain. Other than injectable medication, the only thing that helps is cool weather... something that New Jersey doesn't have to offer much. I've found that the weather in Ireland (especially when I am at the height of my headache cycle) is much more agreeable on my health and relieves much of the pain.
It's no secret that I've wanted to move for a while but haven't had the funds to do so. I'm trying to get a job and relocate to Dublin, Ireland. Other than getting me out of my current situtation it will help with the chronic pain I suffer and I will not need as much medication. It also offers me a better way of life.
This has caused issue with some of my family and closest friends. But, after 37 years of life, I need to truly start over.
Why I created a GoFundMe
Moving is never easy! Giving up your life to start a new one is the hardest thing you can ever do. Sadly, those members of my family that do support me, cannot support the funding needed to move. I need to make a fresh start and take a chance at something new.
Most employers I've spoken with in Dublin want to have an 'in person' interview and I cannot afford to jet set as regularly as needed. I require a work visa in order to work in Dublin, but need an offer of employment in order to get the permit.
I'm looking for help to relocate to actively job hunt.
What your donation will be used for
Your donation will allow me to pay rent and bills for a good amount of time while looking for work. The goal amount is high, this much I understand. But, it is a about the amount that would help me survive while looking for work.
I have to leave my job here and move to a city where I’ll have to actively seek employment while still needing to survive.
Help me realize my dream of relocation and starting a new life in another country.
