Her name is Regina "Gigi" Hernandez. One week before her 40th birthday she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. The situation is felt family wide especially since breast cancer runs in her family. Although we are sadden by the news, we look to the future through the help of medicine.
Her treatment will consist of 1 year of chemotherapy followed by radiation. While her insurance covers 70% of radiation and chemotherapy, her out of pocket is reduced to 30% after the $5000 deductible is met.
Because of this, she needs financial support. We are humbly asking for donations of any sizes to help cover the rapidly growing medical expenses.
Our family is in high spirit and very optimistic with the upcoming therapy schedule. Strength is in the mind and with every supporting person, we know Regina can overcome this situation.
