You are reading this message because (as much as it hurts me to say) I AM IN DESPERATE NEED OF YOUR HELP! I have finally said it (with tears coming down my eyes). There it is…the relinquishing of pride to permit the truth and story of my current debilitating state to come forth. My pride has stopped me from asking for over a year. I won’t make it another year in this state.  I am in need of monetary donations of any amount. Without your help, I am trapped. Man cannot survive alone. It does take a village, a community both locally and internationally. When it rains it pours and sometimes storms. Help me end my storm!
I’M A FULL TIME SOUL BOOGIE BLUES ARTIST THAT HAS HAD MY “QUALITY OF LIFE TAKEN AWAY”.  I AM IN NEED OF A LITTLE HELP FROM THOSE WITH A LOVING HEART AND AN UNDERSTANDING OF OVERCOMING A STORM!
Since 2008, I’ve been working as a full time Soul Boogie Blues artist; performing at clubs from New York to California. My accolades have been headlining twice at the New Orleans Jazz Festival, 2 European Tours in Congo Africa, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, France and Luxemburg while promoting my SOLO CD “A GROWN ASS WOMEN TALKIN”. I’m humbled and thankful to God to have talents that enabled me to provide for myself and help others.
In such a short time, life swiftly changed like that of an unexpected tsunami. Thanksgiving 2013, on a visit to California, I was strickened with a severe Sciatica Nerve Problem. Because I was unable to return to St. Louis in a timely manner, I was evicted from my apartment of 6 years. With only a 30 day notice, I was forced to sale all I own and move. These events sent me reeling into a diagnoses of SEVERE DEPRESSION. In an attempt to quickly pull myself back up…I moved in with my son in California and attempted to work again as a Blues Artist. Nevertheless, my health deteriorated. I am…
·       Under an extensive medication regimen
·       Being treated for severe depression
·       In severe pain
·       Dependent on a cane for mobility
·       Plagued with back and Sciatica nerve ailments
·       Diagnosed with high blood pressure and a heart condition
·       Coping with a massive teeth extraction due to gum disease
 Not only have I been separated from my love of performing, I have been cut off from opportunities to provide for myself and have no money for my daily living necessities. Through all of this, I am grateful to be able to share this story knowing that all storms subside.

As I am always hopeful and prayerful, I am working with my doctors on a physical recovery which will take time and my therapist for a mental recovery.
I have the following solutions in place for this year…
·       Dental replacement in 4 months
·       Weight loss surgery to remedy my obesity and assist in reducing the symptoms of sciatica as suggested by my back surgeon.
·       As I have decided to hold on to my dream, I am continuing the hope of my next project of keeping on track with preparing for my next CD, “Blues to make your Booty Move” in 2016!
