The Red Wing Athletic Field is one of the most picturesque ballparks in the state of Minnesota. Tucked within the bluffs of beautiful Red Wing, Minnesota it is the home of Red Wing Baseball. The Red Wing Wingers, Aces, Legion, VFW and Red Wing Youth Baseball Association all share the stadium field over the course of each spring and summer. The entire complex is host to more than 250 games each season with the stadium field being a part of more than 80 games each year and being the crown jewel of the site .

The current scoreboard at "The Ath" has stood for the past 28 years and is in need of being replaced. Failing and irreplaceable parts and years of weathering have taken its toll. Along with making a move from right-center field to left-center field, it is time to retire the scoreboard that was host for two State Amatuer Baseball Tournaments, more than 20 Section 1 Final Fours and more than 2,200 total games!

We are so close to making a new scoreboard a reality! It all started with a Memorial donation after the passing of Diane Tauer Pumarlo. Diane was a part of Red Wing Baseball for many years and likely witnessed nearly a thousand games at the Red Wing Atheltic Field.
With the very generous "in-kind" service donation from the City of Red Wing and the gracious monetary gifts from four major Corporate Sponsors (Red Wing Shoes Foundation, St. James Hotel, Merchants Bank and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota) we are looking to put the finishing touches on an inconic structure in the heart of Red Wing.
It will be a 21'x36' structure with a 4'x10' LED Message Center that will generate new excitement to baseball in Red Wing.
With an additional feature of adding pitch counts and adding to the overall size of the scoreboard addtional funds are needed to complete the project. We need the help of current and past ballplayers, fans, family and friends as well as community boosters to help us reach this goal and create a structure that will make all of Red Wing proud!
Our goal is to raise the final $6,000 of a more than $100,000 project in just 10 days! Thank you to all of those that even consider donating to the future of Red Wing baseball as current and future players and FANS will get to experience the new scoreboard for years to come!
