Hurricane Michael Disaster Relief

Hurricane Michael devastated the gulf coast and left thousands without homes, power, food, and resources to start putting their lives back together. It will be years before some can fully recover, and for most in its path, they will have to start over... I am a resident of the panhandle residing in Santa Rosa Beach. For years I have worked doing disaster relief with FEMA and various companies in efforts to restore communities after major hurricanes. It’s not always as simple and efficient as we would like it to be, nor does it allow the freedom we need to fully help people. My mission is to make the recovery efforts as efficient and effective as possible, and to help those who need it the most... So this time we are taking a different approach. I have organized a group of committed licensed & insured professionals, most of whom I have worked with on numerous storm and disaster relief teams. Our relief efforts are focused on removing heavy debris and fallen trees from homes/properties, clearing paths to homes, covering roofs with tarps etc, enabling families to go home and start rebuilding. We are working solely on neighborhoods and areas with less financial help and resources. After driving thru ground zero today and assessing the damage, the devastation and cries for help is beyond belief. We have invested every dollar and resource we have to the right, capable machinery from professional grade chain saws, auxiliary fuel tanks, skid steers etc and getting started on our efforts. With replacing parts, fuel, and so on, it’s not cheap to operate and keep everything moving. We need as much help as possible to keep the wheels turning, and the more we have available, the more we can accomplish. EVERY dollar received will go straight to the fuel tanks on the equipment, needed parts, labor, more heavy equipment (skid steers, cranes, labor etc) and expanding our efforts to cover more ground.
