After deadly 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal, around millions of people were affected with more than 8000 people dead, 17000 injured and even more people left homeless. With rainy season on the corner, the life of people living in tents is just unimaginable.
We, Rural Environmental Conservation Society (RECOS) is non-profit organization running on a noble cause and carrying a vision and mission to serve the underprivileged along with the perspective of conserving the environment respecting the societal values as well. Now, in this tragic situation, it is our duty to help and support to those who need. We are really grateful to government, national and international agencies who are helping to rescue relief and rebuild Nepal and Nepalese.
However, we are more concerned about helpless earthquake victims living at rural areas near epicenter Barpark in Baseri VDC of Dhading district and poor underprivileged people living there. The whole village has collapsed and still people are living in constant fear as they have no shelter to spend a night. Heavy rain and thunderstorms has just worsened the case. It is one of the most affected areas and their living condition is miserable.
They desperately need your help to rebuild their temporary homes and RECOS has taken an initiative to raise $25000 USD in initial phase to procure and supply relief materials effectively and promptly. All the raised funds will go only to those who need as promised, every penny is accountable and follow our “RECOS Nepal” facebook page for updates on our efforts in relief work.
