Wimberley Flood Relief - TX Rancher

Donation protected
David Allen lives on the ranch he was born on in Kyle, TX (between Wimberley and San Marcos).  The Blanco River goes right through the middle of his land and he took the full brunt of the Wimberley flood and the tornado that followed.  David is 82 years old, but a real go-getter. Since the disaster, he has spent his time helping the search parties, on his land, and helping others hurt more than himself.  That is just who he is!

David is an Army Veteran and a Texas A&M graduate. He would never take a dime from the government or ask for help from anyone.  Quick to help a stranger, this man is the kindest person you will ever know and tougher than John Wayne.  He is greatly respected by everyone that has ever met him.  Recently, his ranch was recognized by the Texas legislature as one of the oldest “working” ranches in Texas, founded in 1850!  That means he works from sunup to sundown & lives off what the land can produce, trying to make ends meet.  He doesn’t even know what a day off is.

As you can imagine, the ranch was hit hard.  With over $60,000 of hay loss, a barn destroyed, fences down and many other damages, David may never fully recover.  We can change that. Please click the Go Fund Me link below and help, by either donating and/or sharing!
