Ralph Gleason's Medical Fund

In October of last year, Ralph was admitted to the hospital because he had been feeling very sick for about a week and could barely stand. The doctors didn't know what was wrong, so they began to run tests to try and figure out why he was so sick and in severe pain. They later started treating him for meningitis because that's what they thought it was. The next morning Ralph went into cardiac arrest while in the hospital, and later when putting in his defibrillator found a tick bite, leading them to conclude that he had a severe case of Lyme Disease, including Lyme meningitis. The lyme had also caused his the cardiac arrest that almost took his life. He has lyme in his brain, nervous system, and spinal cord. This disease causes him a tremendous amount of pain daily, on top of all the other side effects, such as memory loss, sensory hyperarousal, fatigue, and so many more. Ralph takes up to 20 medications a day including up to 3 IV medications he recieves through a Pic line, leaving him confined to the couch for up to 6 hours a day. Ralph has numerous doctors appointments a week, some of which don't take insurance, so that is why I need your help! The gleason's have to pay out of pocket for many appointments, medications, and visiting nurses. Their family has done so much forme over the last 2 years that I want to surprise them and give them this money to help out with their medical expenses, while also raising awareness about how serious Lyme Disease truly is.
