Triple Guinness World Record holder and her training partner Percy will attempt to run 100k on Saturday 11th July in the "Race to the Stones" which finishes in Avebury
We understand that the race has been organised to celebrate Fiona's partners latest album (Quest for the Stones) by his band YAK, (all of whoms albums are sold in aid of the animals at the Tower Hill Stables Animal sanctuary) which came out on 1st June - but it might just be a coincidence... ;)
In any event, Fiona will be sporting the very latest in endurance running attire - her Cow suit, to raise awareness for animal exploitation and to show that as a vegan for 40 years her cruelty free diet gives here all her body needs to do these extreme events, thereby flying in the face of those who decry the diet as nutritionally lacking
Please please dig deep to show your support for Fiona and Percy who aim to raise enough to feed the rescued animals at Tower Hill Stables Animal Sanctuary for one week.
