Iya's College Education

Donation protected
Hi! Thanks for taking a look at my gofundme page! My name is Iya Bazar and I am a senior in high school and I will be attending college next year. The only problem is my family can't afford to pay for it.
Last year my father was forced to move to Chicago in order to take care of my family. Knowing this I did not want to put any financial strain on my father so I worked hard on applying for several scholarships. I managed to get some money for college but I am still $9,000 behind when it comes to cost.
Being able to go to college would be a wonderful opportunity and it would provide me with a means to break against the stereotype against Muslim women. I would be able to continue in help fostering the importance of education for Muslim women. When I was a sophomore in high school I was able to go to Palestine and teach English. This opportunity helped me in convincing girls the value on an education and I want to continue to be a role model for other Muslim girls.
Not only have I taught English in Palestine I have volunteered in Dayton Children's Hospital. While volunteering there I realized that I want to become a pediatric oncologist. I want to be able to help protect the dreams of children and going to college would start me on that journey.
After graduating from college I plan on going to medical school. I want to be able to help make the world a better place for Muslim girls and going to college would provide me with the opportunity to make the world a better place!
Thanks again for helping me! I'm super grateful!
