Give a hand UP to a homeless vet

The last 2 years have been rough for me;  having spent all of 2014 unemployed after 2013, when I had 4 different positions as resident apartment manager, none lasting more than 3 months (in reverse order: property A was being managed by 2 brothers, with one being the owner who had been fighting over the property for a long time prior to my arrival leaving me as collateral damage of the argument, property B was sold to a new owner who wanted to bring in his own team, Property C was lost to the bank AND was not only underpaying me, but still owes me mileage money, and property D was just taken over by a management team new to the area with no relationships to build from); in years prior, my average tenure with any employer was between 18-20 months. Since housing was included in the compensation for each of these positions, it was terminated along with the employment. That being said, I decided that this particular path was not stable enough to be sustainable for me and felt that I needed to find something I could do for the remainder of my working years, barring sickness or injury. I chose to pursue a commercial driver license and began training, however; I ran out of funding before passing the test. I have tried traditional loans, but  due to a number of factors: including  long term unemployment and unstable employment, no current earnings (just a conservative estimate of first year earnings, which is roughly 400% over what I received in 2014 on unemployment) based on average mileage less additional pay, including tuition reimbursement, I was denied funding to finance this. What I am looking for is assistance to finance the additional training I need plus pay some living expenses until I get on payroll. This request is a request for a hand UP and not a hand OUT and the company's tuition assistance for these expenses will be used to pay into  the Hebrew Free Loan Association, San Francisco; with the express instructions that they be used to help someone in a situation similar to mine.

Once training is completed and I have passed the DMV test, I do have an employer (out of several to choose from that have offered me employment contingent upon me coming in holding a valid commercial driver's license) to contact and schedule company orientation and their training period.

When making your contribution, please remember that GoFundMe keeps about 9% of the funds. I did adjust my goal to account for this. Feel free to share this with others who you may know. I felt the need to reset my goal again since the process to get the funds I need is taking longer than I had hoped.
