Volunteer Research Trip to Peru

I have been offered a chance to go to Pucara, Peru this summer as a part of the Nuñoa Project.  This trip will allow me to continue helping with the reproduction research I am involved in up here in MA, as well as helping the local Peruvians with their herd health and breeding techniques . 

This trip will involve ultrasounding and diagnosing pregnancies, assessing the breeding males and females, doing fecal exams to measure parasites, and helping with health problems facing the alpacas and their new crias. 

This is a once and a life time chance that I am so honored to be asked to participate in! Being able to meet people that make a living off of these animals and actually make a difference in their lives will be a priceless experience for me! Thank you for your help :)
