Support for Alfred O'Brien

In February 2014, my father, Al O'Brien was diagnosed with cancer.  The battle began immediately, as he started radiation treatment and chemo therapy.  Now, Dad is on his third round of chemo, but he's still fighting! 

My mum, Lynn, has been amazing; she has taken on a great deal over the last year.  Along with caring for my father 24/7, she is keeping up a house at the same time.  Mum cannot work as a result and Dad hasn't been back to Westfield Golf course to work since October 2013. 

Insurance and savings are now starting to dry up and neither of my parents would ever think of asking for a hand-out.  Any amount that people can give to help them out would be greatly appreciated.  They'd use any funding to pay bills like mortgage, utilities, insurance, property taxes and gas (for the frequent hospital trips).

If you know either Alfred or Linda O'Brien at all, then you know what great people they both are.  They are the people who will always be there to cheer people on - to whatever end - in whatever way they can.  I hope they've touched enough lives to warrant any aid people can provide.
