VBS at Open Door Fellowship

My name is Brian Dario and I am the Children’s Pastor at Open Door Fellowship in Phoenix, Arizona. At this time, many churches around the country are planning their Vacation Bible School programs for the summer and it is no different with us. At VBS, a week long event, kids learn about Jesus and the Bible while enjoying games, crafts, and food. It is a wonderful event for kids to experience!


My vision for the VBS at Open Door Fellowship is to go beyond the walls of our church and open it up to the kids in our community.  I and others have been blessed to have relationship with many of the kids at the local elementary school because of an after school program we have the privilege of doing. It is my hope that these kids would come to our VBS.


Many of these kids live in poverty and would struggle to afford the $15 registration fee for VBS. For some of these kids the only meal they may get is at school. It is my hope that we can raise enough funds for 200 kids to not only attend VBS but to also be fed a meal. Therefore, I am asking if you would partner with me by giving above and beyond what you may already give so that we may provide not only for the children’s spiritual needs but also their physical needs.
