Please help me to save my house.

I am desperately trying to save my house from the Mortgage Company. If I don't find some way of repaying the loan in the next 12 months, then all I have worked for in the last 25 years will have been for nothing.

There should have been an insurance policy, but the person I used to live with was a spendthrift to say the least, and it never got paid properly, so the insurance company cancelled it.

In all my 60 years I have never had to beg before, never had to claim any state benefits, but now, well I am asking for help now. I am asking for some serious help. You will have my eternal gratitude if you can help me in any small way.
