I never thought in a million years that I would be writing this to family, friends and people I don’t even know and asking for help is never easy but we really could use it especially with the situation that my brother got himself into. It has put a weight on the heart of my entire family as you can imagine if this was someone in yours. So please take a second to just listen to what I have to say and you can make your own decision. On April 1st my brother made a huge mistake and like many of us there are some mistakes that just pass on by that we can learn grown and change but this one it was in no doubt a Very big and life changing one. As many of you already know Austin got himself into an extensive amount of trouble that I don’t even think at the time he realized, he had gotten flagged down by the cops and instead of pulling over chose to run from the cops out of fear and ended up losing control of his car and crashing into someone’s garage. Luckily no one was hurt and Austin did end up turning himself in. He is facing a felony charge that will follow him for the rest of his life and as we all know a felony effects every aspect of your life. We are trying to raise money to afford a lawyer to lower the felony to a misdemeanor and pay for the attorney and court fees. Now I am sure you are probably asking why would he run from the cops. Why should we help someone who did something that reckless? Austin did not have a license and out of pure fear and what I could only assume as adrenaline chose to run. Now I know that this was his decision and there should be consequences for the actions. I am in no means saying that that is not true. However, if you know Austin and many of you may not let me sum him up for you. Austin has an imagination like know one I know a love for art and for people I know him well after all he is my brother and I know he had no intentions of hurting anyone he is only 19 yrs. old and was scared he has big dreams just like the rest of us he wants to do art in the form of drastic makeup for actors and models. Ambition. I believe in him to the moon and back and I really hope you guys can give this kid the benefit of the doubt and donate. every penny counts help me and my family help him he is a good kid and we don’t want this to follow him throughout his entire life we have plans for his arrival when he does come home to help him and if you would like to know about those you can contact me personally. By no means is he not going to pay for the damage he did or do what needs to be done to make this right. I just really don’t want him to have this felony this really dumb young mistake to damage what he has worked so hard and is continuing to work hard for. Ohana means family and family means Nobody gets left behind. My family and I are extremely grateful for the donations we have received and cannot even begin to express our gratitude and when we get the opportunity to pay it forward we will. we could not have gone this far without your support.
