Margies Medical Fund

In the summer of 2013, my friend Margie felt a lump on her abdomen and thought it was a hernia. In November of 2013, she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. An MRI confirmed that it was uterine, but had also spread to her lungs and lymph nodes. Next she was faced with several rounds of chemo, surgery and then more chemo. Earlier this year Margie was admitted to the hospital with a stomach tumor. She now has a blockage which isn't allowing her to eat solid food. Margie and her husband Mike have two beautiful children. They have a 14 year old daughter and a twelve year old son.  Two weeks ago Margies husband Mike was in the hospital for a week with pneumonia. They found blood clots in his legs and lungs which will require surgery. Mike is a truck driver and this could potentially jeopardize his job and the only health insurance they have. Margie is a hairdresser, but has been unable to work for over a year.
Margie is one of the kindest human beings I have ever been blest to call my friend. You see, 30 years ago, when I had no money, no friends, along came Margie. She stayed by my side, took me to church and intoduced me to Jesus.  She is closer than a sister to me.. I pray that you will help me to help her.
