My brother and I have never been the best of friends. We fought, argued and truly and royally pissed one another off.
That being said, I would never want to be a day without having him there to challenge me and to make me a better person, a better sister, a better mother. I love him to the core.
He is father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many. A newly married husband and a Paramedic and Firefighter for Sebring.
He puts his life on the line everyday for strangers, now it's time he find strangers to help him.
Life can at times be a tough pill to swallow and my brother's diagnosis has been a bitter brew for us all.
For the last few years my brother has been struggling with renal disease or FSGS: focal segmental globular sclerosis, I know it's difficult to say, can you imagine living with it? The pain, the uncertainty, the overall agony of not knowing your future.
The time has come however for him to have a transplant to save his life. I implore you to share what you can, to help him on this journey. Give what you can, share it with your friends and help me help him make this incredibly difficult time, just a bit easier.
