Never Again Building Fund

On July 17, 2015, the Hardin County Playhouse was told by the Historic State Theater's Board, after the 2015-2016 season our lease would not be renewed; HCP would have to find a new home, renovate, and move to a new location in just under a year, all while having our rent doubled. For more infomation, go to:

HCP is the only community theater that serves the Elizabethtown/Hardin County area. We draw actors from many more cities than just Elizabethtown: Radcliff, Vine Grove, Ft. Knox, Brandenburg, Bardstown, Mt. Washington & Louisville, just to name a few.
HCP has been in Hardin County for 47 years and has been a vital part of downtown Elizabethtown for 10 years--we would like to keep it that way. As it stands now, we will be homeless at the end of August 2016. But with your help, we can raise funds to purchase/renovate a new space.
If you have been affected or touched by being a part of the HCP family, please spread the word to help our cause. Please help keep the arts alive in downtown E-town!
