Help me buy a New Computer

If you don't already know me, my name is Justine Smith. I live in Montreal, QC and am a passionate and avid writer. Unfortunately in early March my computer died, and it will cost me more money to fix it than I did spending on it.
In early 2015 I decided that I needed to focus my attention on my freelance writing, and I have really made enormous progress. 2014 was a difficult year for me, I suffered from an abscess that kept me off work for several months, it really destroyed all of my savings and I'm still living paycheque to paycheque catching up. I currently work part time as a barista and am working very hard in order to make enough money to write full time.
Even without my computer I have been working hard, writing daily in my notebook and borrowing computers when I have the chance. It is not sustainable, however, and I feel like the momentum I had started is already falling off. If I were a painter, I'd need a canvas and paints, but I'm a writer and I need a computer in order to make my living. My part-time job does not pay me enough that I can save enough money to buy a new computer, especially not one that will last me. I am generally not the kind of person who likes to ask for money, but this is something that I really need and every cent will help me.
If you know me, you're already well aware how passionate and driven I am. Writing and film is incredibly important to me, and it is something I put my heart and soul into. I am one of those people who when I set my mind to something will work as hard as possible to make it come to fruition.
I also believe in community and helping each other out. Right now, I'm a little down on my luck but I know in the future I will hopefully be secure enough to help others out too.
