For the Love of Paul

Most of you know me as a performer, director, collegue, entertainer, friend or family member. Over the past 13 years, I have been repeatedly called from a job I love because of a myriad of health issues involving my feet.

In 2012, those infections and illnesses reached a culmination when I had my right foot amputated. The following stint at rehab taught me a lot about learning to live with a handicap and gradually I adjusted to a life with new limititations. Unfortunately, the disease that ultimately claimed my right foot has now lodged in my left, and over the next few days, my left foot will also be amputated.

This represents a frightening new challenge and in order to acheive my goal of walking again, I call upon you, my friends, collegues, coworkers and fans in a show of support. One of the major concerns above and beyond my health issues themselves, is the question of how I will survive during the lengthy recuperation period. With all the fears I have, I don't want to also be afraid of losing my house or wondering how I can afford necessary modifications due to my inability to work.
