Help Buckingham County Band

As a fraternity driven to help bands, the brothers of the Eta Omicron chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi have adopted a band program in need. Buckingham County Middle and High School bands are underfunded and in need of supplies like folders, music stands, and instruments

As a group of musicians, we have felt the impact of music personally and collectively, and believe all those who want to feel the significance of music deserve to. Please help Buckingham County students receive the experience and opportunities of music by making a donation or giving supplies.

Program Information:
·One teacher for all band and high school music classes
· Buckingham County is on the poverty line. 75% of students eat free or reduced lunch, and many of the students do not have internet/technology at home, which makes renting instruments an unrealistic expectation.
· Did not have a classroom to rehearse in, or working instruments (in 2012)
·They now have a classroom, students who are interested in music, and five extra-curricular ensembles.
·With the increasing number of students interested in participating in band, there is a serious need for instruments and classroom materials!​
